Art Dubai was better then I expected, there were so many galleries showcasing the peices of different artists. I found myself throughly engrossed in some artists work more than others. One of the artists I was really impressed with was Ablade Glover, throughout his work you really get a sense of a mass of people either celebrating or trying to navigate through life. His ability to use a palette knife to create such vibrant images blew me away. I’ve tried painting with a palette knife before, and it turned out to be one hot mess.

I would recommend that if you are in Dubai next year at the same time Art Dubai is on, make a point to spend the afternoon there. It was a great start to my weekend
