I am so sorry that I am late with my posts, too many late nights in a row is my only excuse. Wednesday in Dubai is normally Ladies night, where we get to drink at various bars for free. But as Eid was officially announced as starting on Thursday, Wednesday was a dry night in Dubai. I still decided to meet some of my girls after work on Wednesday for dinner and a quick catch up.

I knew I wouldn’t have time to go home and change so I wanted to wear something that that could go straight from work to play with just a quick bag change. Even though it wasn’t a free night, I ended up staying out till 12. Good food and great company meant the time flew by :-) .

I’m so happy that the lease has been signed on my new flat, but at the moment my life feels like a never ending list of things to do. So to help me focus I decided to channel the karate kid. I’ve always worn this kimono top as a blouse and I really want a cool obi belt to wear with it instead of the same fabric belt that came with it. Next time I’m going to see if I can wear it as a jacket.

Just back from my holiday and I had the most amazing time. I will update with pictures once I’m back into the swing of things. But first things first, yes  I have had curly extensions put in. I was bored and wanted a change.

I’m a total sucker for leopard print, but with the new hair I didn’t want to take a total walk down the wild side so I added the tropical heels. New hair, leopard trousers and sweet shoes, hmm all things yummy ;-) .

I’m so excited that I’m going on holiday today, first stop UK followed by Croatia. But the downside to going on holiday is getting all my work done before I go. Pairing things I haven’t worn together, gave me a much needed boost to get through the day :-) .

I found this peplum top in The Outlet, but it was a size too big. Until recently it was also in the alteration pile. Having it tailored means it fits better than if I had bought the right size :-) .

This skirt used to be longer, but I got glue on it making it unwearable. My tailor had to make it shorter to remove the sections with glue. Due to the paperbag waist, the new length works and I couldn’t be happier :-) .

People love air conditioning in Dubai, especially the people I work with. So I end up wearing a jacket indoors and taking it off when I go outside. Personally I’d rather be hot than cold, that’s why I moved out here :-) .
