Bikini Top: ASOS Bikini Pant: ASOS; Nails: Chanel Holiday

Finding a bikini has always been a bit of a challenge for me, as I can’t buy a bikini from the high street. If it fit my top half then it was going to be too big on the bottom half. And I never felt comfortable in the mix and match string bikini’s. Then when bravissimo started doing bra sized bikini’s, I thought this is the best thing ever. I could get bikini’s that fit perferctly and not worry about having a nipplegate situation. The only downside was the cost, as they were not cheap bikini’s

This season ASOS has been a life saver, and I couldn’t wait to try on the penelope bikini. I love the print and the fact that they offered a long sleeve almost rash guard to go with the bikini briefs. For me this is the perfect bikini for someone who is used to covering up their chest. I’ll now be on the lookout for more bikini’s like this.

Dress: Black Halo Stirling; Bag: Fendi; Heels: Rupert sanderson; Jewellery: Agatha; Nails: Chanel Holiday

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but my nail varnish of choice whilst I was away was aptly called holiday. There was no pun intented with that choice, I just didn’t want to pack a lot of different nail varnishes and it worked best with nearly all my outfits.

I saw this dress originally on Lauren Conrad and I loved the high low element of it and the cyber stalking campaign began to find out where it was from. Years ago at the races I spotted a girl in a similar dress in navy with a high low hem detail, and I never stopped her to find out where it was from. I spent weekends trying to google search for something similar with no luck what so ever. I didn’t want this one to be the one that got away, especially as it was nearly sold out.

The fit is amazing and incredibly flattering on the body, it’s the right kind of sexy. I wore it one of the evenings where we went out for dinner first and then ended up in a club.

Dress: Asos;  Belt: Forever21;  Bag: Fendi;  Shoes: Christian Louboutin;  Jewellery: Agatha;  Nails: Chanel Holiday

I got this ASOS dress at the same time as the dress from the previous post, as I wasn’t sure which one I wanted more. The plan was to return one but the colours in this were so vivid that I really couldn’t pick. It was a total daddy or chips moment (for those of you who have never seen the advert, two little goes eating breakfast and one asks the other if she prefers, daddy or chips. The rest of the advert is the little talking to herself and asking daddy or chips continuously, until she gets home from school and declares chips).

This is my last holiday outfit post with a parasol, but I can’t promise you won’t see the parasol again in a future post. I was having a Dior moment with this and I was really happy that the wind decided to help me with the shoot. The dress actually has a neon print which just doesnt show up well in photo’s, it’s very bright and I love it for that. I added a pink neon belt from Forever 21 as I really wanted the feel of the vintage Dior lady, and the neon colours just give it a modern take. I’m so glad I decided to pick daddy and chips ;-)

Dress: Asos;  Belt: Aldo;  Bag: Zara;  Heels: Christian Louboutin;  Nails: Chanel Holiday

I loved the parosols that were used in the wedding so much that I ended up using them to shoot a few outfits (I also brought them home with :-) . When I saw this dress on ASOS a few months ago it looked very Oscar de la Renta to me. When it arrived the only issue I had was around the bust area as the v was deeper than what I’m used to wearing. I’m quite self conscious about being top heavy, so I’ve always dressed to disguise that area.

I added the other colourway of the Aldo belt I talked about in my last post and then used the bag and shoes as a contrast. I did cheat a bit and I used my hair to cover the area a little bit at first, but it wasn’t as revealing as I had imagined it to be. Another big step out of my comfort zone.

Are you self conscious about a part of your body, and if so how do you hide it? xx

Dress: Suzannah;  Belt: Aldo;  Bag: Zara;  Heels: Rupert Sanderson;  Nails: Chanel Holiday

I had in my head a completely different outfit for my brothers wedding, but when I saw this dress via Gary Pepper Vintage, I knew it was what I wanted to wear. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realised more and more what works for me and what suit’s my body. And the 1950′s style of this dress ticked all the boxes. Occassionaly I want to experiment, as I don’t want to end up stuck in a style rut. And I know that sometimes it won’t work and I’m ok with that. That’s what is fun about fashion, once you know and own your personal style you get to step out of your comfort zone every now and again.

The dress comes with a self farbric belt, but I swapped it out for this leather Aldo belt that is reversible. The belt is one of those unexpected great buys and actually is sold as a 2 pack with a tan and mint green belt. The wedding was beautiful and both bride and groom looked amazing. I managed to not only keep my heels on the whole night, but when there was a throwback moment music wise, I did the running man. Now that’s a skill that needs to be recognised ;-)

Hope you are having a great weekend xx

Yesterday for the rehearsal dinner we had a BBQ at the villa. So I decided to got for a jeans and top combo as I didn’t want to be too overdressed. At the same time I didn’t want to be so casual that it looked like I hadn’t made an effort. The food was amazing and I really want to bring the chef home with me when I leave.

Today Is the actual wedding so I’m resting up now so I can dance the night away later. Hope you’re all having a good weekend xx

IMG_7232 IMG_6926 IMG_7170Top: Zara;  Shorts: Zara; WOC: Fendi Fendilicious;  Sandals: Giuseppe Zanotti; Jewellery: Agatha/Hermes;  Nails: Chanel Holiday

Today we took a quick trip into Cabo and I had plans to take pictures whilst out and about. But it didn’t work out that way so I ended up taking some quick pictures of my ensemble for the day when we got back to the villa.

I love, love, love the print on this top and shorts set. I normally avoid boxy tops as I’m top heavy, but the versatility of this top made it an easy rule to break. I wish I had packed my tan wide belt as I could have made it look like a play-suit. I feel that when I’m back in Dubai as the weather heats up, this is going to become a weekend favourite.

Hope you’re all having a great week so far xx

IMG_6160 IMG_6188 IMG_6170T-shirt: Massimo Dutti; Shorts: Zara; Wedges: Eli Tahari

I feel like there should be a voice over with this post, starting with this is day one in the big brother house :-) . This is the veranda just outside my bedroom in the villa, and it has officially become my spot. I have spent the day vegging on the seats here catching up on my magazines.

I know you probably thinking I’m crazy to be wearing leather shorts. But they are not leather, they are pleather and they are amazing. I love the fit of them and as they let just enough air circulate to keep me cool. The t-shirt is 100% linen, as i’ve slowly moved away from cotton t-shirts/tanks to linen ones. They crease more easily, but they just keep you cooler for longer.

I’m just heading for lunch now, after which I will carry on chillin like a villain. Hope you’re all having a great weekend xx

Cabo San Lucas…

IMG_5650 IMG_5677I can’t believe I am finally here the flight to LA was 16 hours, and even though the flight was long, I got really lucky as there was an empty seat beside me. The woman in front of me didn’t get so lucky. The man on the other side of the empty seat next to me got really annoyed with her snoring. So decided to punch the back of seat to wake her up and shout at her loud enough so that everyone on the plane knew she was snoring loudly. I was like a rabbit trapped in the headlights. Really trying not to laugh or make eye contact.

The next flight was much shorter in comparison to Cabo, and the villa beyond my expectations. I can’t wait for the wedding, and obv I’ll keep you updated xx
